Pin

I forlengelsen av mitt nyttårsforsett om å kaste mindre mat, er jeg nå i ferd med å tilberede og spiser opp maten vi har i fryseren, kjøleskapet og kjøkkenskap. I dag var det noen pinnekjøttrester fra julen som lå i fryseren og en skokk med rotgrønnsaker som sammen ble til en deilig kjøttsuppe med pinnekjøtt.

En fordel med restemat er at den i stor grad allerede er tilberedt, slik at det er raskt å få den på bordet. I dette tilfellet er jo kjøttet allerede ferdig dampet og dermed mørt. Det skal bare varmes opp.  Jeg tok pinnekjøttet rett fra fryseren med ben og alt og hadde det oppi suppen og lot det koke sammen med grønnsakene. På denne måten tinte kjøttet fort og suppen fikk mye smak av pinnekjøttet. Da suppen var nesten ferdig fisket jeg kjøttet opp igjen og rev tok kjøttet av bena og delte det i mindre biter som jeg hadde tilbake i gryten.

Oppskrift på å lage pinnekjøtt har jeg selvsagt også. En tradisjonell tilbedening  av pinnekjøttet i gryte og en med pinnekjøttet i dampovn.

Ingredienser

  • 2 liter vann
  • 2-3 kjøttbuljongterninger
  • 4 gulrøtter
  • 1 liten kålrot
  • 1/2 sellerirot
  • 1 liten løk
  • 6 poteter
  • pinnekjøtt
  • persille

Fremgangsmåte

  • Kok opp vannet, og mens det kokes opp skjæres alle grønnsakene i terninger på ca. 1x1 cm.
  • Ha buljongterninger, grønnsaker og pinnekjøtt i det kokende vannet.
  • Når grønnsakene er nesten møre tas pinnekjøttet opp og kjøttet rives av bena og deles i mindre biter. Ha kjøttet tilbake i gryten.

Server rykende varm med hakket persille over og flatbrød ved siden av. Vel bekomme.
