Pin

Flesk, juleflesk, sukkerflesk eller gelefrukt – kjært barn har mange navn. Hvor flesk navnet kommer fra vet jeg ikke, men en ting er helt sikkert. Dette har ingen ting med flesk å gjøre. Faktisk er det så å si ikke fett i dette godteriet i det hele tatt. Sukker derimot, ja det er en annen sak. Jeg har laget gelefrukt med mango og appelsinsmak. Det er et nydelig søtt og friskt tilskudd til de andre tradisjonelle julegodteriene som karameller, rocky road, peppermyntekonfekt og sjokoladetrøfler .

Utgangspunktet for denne oppskriften er en oppskrift jeg fant på Coop mega sin hjemmeside.

Ingredienser

  • 150 gr mango
  • appelsinsaft (til sammen skal mango og appelsinsaft utgjøre ca. 2,5 dl væske)
  • 1/2 kg sukker
  • 15 plater gelatin

Fremgangsmåte

  • Legg gelatinplatene i kaldt vann i ca. 5 minutter.
  • Kjør mango og appelsinsaft glatt.
  • Kok opp fruktsaften med sukkeret, rør til sukkeret er løst opp.
  • Klem vannet ut av gelatinplatene og bland inn i væsken. Rør godt til all gelatinen er løst helt opp.
  • Kle en form på ca. 20x30 cm med bakepapir og hell gelevæsken oppi.
  • Sett kjølig til det stivner. Min 5-6 timer eller natten over.
  • Skjær geleene opp i terninger og dypp deretter i sukker slik at alle sider er dekket.

Oppbevar kjølig i en lufttett boks og gjem godt dersom du vil ha noen igjen til jul.

Tips

Siden det er frisk frukt i denne oppskriften er ikke holdbarheten uendelig, men det er etter min erfaring ikke et problem.
