Jeg synes alt blir litt opp ned og bak frem for tiden. Dagene forsvinner i en grå masse av hjemmekontor, iskalde dager og evig hverdagsrutiner. Definitivt kjedelig, men det må til for å få bukt med dette viruset. Da er det i hvert fall godt at matbutikkene er åpen og vi kan bruke tiden på å lage noe skikkelig godt til middag. Jeg starter uken med en deilig grønn pizza. Den er både velsmakende og vakker og lover at det snart blir vår. På tirsdagen slår jeg til med laks og masse deilige grønnsaker i en wok. Dette er et festfyrverkeri av smaker og farger. Så følger en ekte italiener, nemlig den erkeklassiske grønnsaksuppen Minestrone. Den er lett og god i magen samtidig som bønner sørger for at du forblir mett en god stund. Så kjører jeg på med flesk og duppe. For meg smaker det farmor og respateksbord, mens andre kanskje tenker på Elling og Kjell-Bjarne. Uansett, traust tradisjonsmat funker. Det er en grunn til at den har overlevd i så lang tid. Helgen hilses velkommen med kyllingfajitas og gjerne et glass kald øl sammen med en god serie på Netflix.

Denne søndagen skjer det som jeg vil anta er en sjeldenhet av kommersiell feiring. Da kan vi nemlig stable Valentines, morsdag og fastelaven på hverandre på en eneste dag.  Det skulle vel borge for både boller, sjokolade, fjær og fjas hele helgen? Vi er ikke så nøye på disse dagene hjemme hos oss, men jeg benytter gjerne anledningen til å lage et deilig måltid med skrei. For skreien er jo selveste kjærlighetsfisken, så det passer jo bra. Og sammen med franske linser så kan det jo fort bli et riktig så romantisk måltid om man vil det, da. Godt smaker det uansett. På søndagen foreslår jeg en herlig, varmende kjøttgryte som kan godgjøre seg i gryten mens mor og resten av familien kan gjøre noe koselig. Og så kan man jo avslutte måltidet med boller, krem, sjokolade og alt som godt er. Ha en strålende uke i alle fall!
