I min verden er den beste formen for egnepleie å lage seg gode mat. Og med god mat mener jeg ikke dyre råvarer og fancy metoder eller utstyr for å lage maten. Nei, jeg mener rett og slett mat laget med kjærlighet og gode råvarer. God mat trenger med andre ord verken være dyrt eller ta lang tid. Nedenfor finner du mitt forslag til ukemeny. Som vanlig er det både kjøtt, fisk, fugl og masse grønnsaker.  Og nettopp variasjon er noe jeg forsøker å etterstrebe. Derfor lager listen med grønnsaker så lang som mulig og det samme gjelder kjøtt og fisk. Noen foreslår at man skal spise en «regnbue» hver dag – altså grønnsaker i masse forskjellige farger. Det er jo ikke alltid så lett, men definitivt noe å strekke seg etter.
