Rømmegrøt er noe jeg forbinder med midtsommer. Det er mange gode minner knyttet til denne retten. Jeg husker mormor som rørte gi gryten, bålene ved fjorden og rømmegrøt og spekemat etterpå. Deilig.

Ingredienser

  • 2 beger seterrømme
  • 2 dl hvetemel
  • 6 dl melk
  • 1/2 ts salt

Fremgangsmåte

  • Kok opp rømmen, helst i en slipp-lett.
  • La rømmen koke ved middels varme i 10 minutter.
  • Tilsett halvparten av melet og rør inn.
  • Fortsett å la det koke til rømmen slipper smøret.
  • Ta av litt av smøret og gjem det til servering.
  • Kok opp melken i en annen gryte.
  • Tilsett resten av melet og spe med den varme melken litt etter litt.
  • La det koke i ca. 10 minutter etter at all melken er tilsatt.

Server varm med smør, sukker og kanel. Vi bruker spekemat ved siden av.
