Oktober. Vi er for alvor inne i høstsesongen og det er rotfrukter for alle pengene nå. Derfor har jeg lyst til å dele mine 5 beste oppskrifter med gulrot. Gulrot er en utrolig allsidig grønnsak og kan brukes både til søtt og salt. Den kan spises rå, kokes, bakes og brukes i suppe, for å nevne noe. I det utvalget jeg har gjort har jeg valgt oppskrifter der gulroten mer eller mindre spiller hovedrollen.

 

Ovnsbakte regnbuegulrøtter med smør og timian

Når gulrøttene blir bakt i ovnen får de en utrolig konsentrert smak der sødmen kommer ekstra godt frem. I denne oppskriften har jeg brukt regnbuegulrøtter rett og slett fordi de er så vakre. Sammen med smør og et lite dryss med timian er dette nok til at både øye og smaksløker blir mer enn tilfredsstilt.

Liker du vanlig hummus, liker du helt sikkert denne også. Den er litt søtere i smaken, men har fortsatt en tydelig hummussmak fra kikerter og tahin. Dessuten er den jo så vakker med sin gylne farge.

Dette er en skikkelig frisk salat med gode thaismaker som kler de sprøde grønnsakene veldig godt. Du bestemmer selv hvor hot den skal være.

Vel, det er vel ikke mulig å komme utenom en skikkelig saftig og god gulrotkake når det er snakk om «best of» gulrotoppskrifter. Denne er i hvert fall seriøst god, og om du greier å la være å spise den opp med en gang, blir den faktisk enda bedre neste dag.Gulrotkake
