Vi skriver juni og er endelig inne i sommermånedene. For mange er matlaging om sommeren synonymt med grilling. Det meste kan grilles. Pølser og hamburgere er nok en favoritt for mange, og jeg er enig. Det er lite som kan måle seg med å sette tennene i en saftig burger. Men, lager du burgern hjemme kan opplevelsen fort bli en veritabel nedtur dersom du kjøper hamburgerbrød i butikken. Det smaker som regel som papp, og har en konsistens som en slapp svamp. Neste gang du skal kose deg med et skikkelig burgermåltid, anbefaler jeg at du baker hamburgerbrødene selv. Det er slett ikke vanskelig, og det smaker så uendelig mye bedre. Har du en kjøkkenmaskin er det en smal sak å lage brødene.

Fyll brødene med hamburgere, karbonader eller kanskje fiskekaker og alt det deilige stashet du liker.

Ingredienser

  • 1,4 dl vann
  • 2 dl melk
  • 1 ss sukker
  • 2 ss olivenolje
  • 25 gr gjær
  • 500 gr hvetemel
  • 3/4 ts salt
  • sesamfrø og melk til pensling

Fremgangsmåte

Oppskriften gir 8 brød.

  • Varm opp melk og vann til 37 grader og rør ut gjæren.
  • Tilsett olivenoljen.
  • Bland hvetemel og salt i en kjøkkenmaskin og ha i væsken.
  • Elt deigen i 15 minutter.
  • Sett deigen lunt og la den heve til dobbel størrelse.
  • Del deigen i 8 like store emner (ca. 110 gr.)
  • Trill ut boller og trykk dem litt flate med hånden.
  • La det etterheve i 30 minutter.
  • Pensle brødene med melk og dryss over sesamfør.
  • Stek i forvarmet ovn på 225 grader i 10-12 minutter.
