Sommer er tid for makrell. Mange har båt og kan bokstavelig talt dra opp bøttevis av denne sommerfisken, mens vi andre får nøye oss med den fangsten vi kan gjøre i fiskedisken. Men uansett hvordan man får tak i fisken, så smaker det deilig av sommer, sol og late dager. Men den gode smaken til tross, er det ikke alle som er like begeistret for den lukten som brer seg i huset når fisken stekes. Et godt alternativ er da å grille den ute i stedet. Det gjorde jeg i går og serverte grillet makrell med dillstuede poteter ved siden av. Sammen med kald pils ble det rett og slett smaskens.

Ingredienser

  • 4 makreller, eller 8 fileter
  • salt og pepper
  • 1 kg små nypoteter
  • 1 potte dill
  • 2 ss smør
  • 2 ss hvetemel
  • 2 dl melk
  • 2 dl kokevann fra potetene

Fremgangsmåte

  • Skrell potetene og del dem evt. opp i mindre biter. Kok dem i lettsaltet vann med dillstilkene.
  • Fileter makrellen og dryss med salt og pepper.
  • Smelt smøret i en gryte og rør inn melet. La det surre et par minutter på lav varme. Det må ikke ta farge.
  • Spe med kald melk og rør slik at det ikke blir klumper.
  • Spe ytterligere med potetvannet. Smak til med salt og pepper.
  • Grill makrellfiletene på høy varme med skinnsiden ned. Fisken er ferdig når den har blitt matt og lys på oversiden av filetene. Det tar nok ikke mer enn 5 minutter.
  • Rør inn dillen i sausen og ha oppi de kokte potetene og bland til potetene er godt dekket med saus.

Server straks med en grønn salat.
