Åhhh, det er ikke mye som slår det å sette tennene i en skikkelig saftig burger med gode grønnsaker, herlig dressing og nybakt burgerbrød. Det er i hvert fall min påstand. I dag er det søndag og jeg har hatt god tid. Dermed har jeg hatt tid til å bake hamburgerbrød. Det synes jeg er uendelig mye bedre enn det som er å få kjøpt på super’n. Så mye innsats krever det heller ikke.

Til hamburgerne valgte jeg å bruke halvparten kjøttdeig og halvparten karbonadedeig. Da blir burgerne litt saftigere enn om jeg bare bruker karbonadedeig, og litt magrere enn om jeg bare bruker kjøttdeig. Resultatet ble akkurat passe synes jeg. Om burgeren stekes eller grilles, kommer an på anledning og preferanser. Godt blir det uansett.

En god dressing hører også med til burgeropplevelsen synes jeg, og en passelig syrlig ranch-dressing med frisk smak av hvitløk er noe av det beste etter min smak.

Nå er det meldt noen fine dager, i hvert fall på Østlandet, så overrask familie, eller venner med en skikkelig burger fest en av dagene. Det blir garantert populært.

Ingredienser

  • 8 hamburgerbrød
  • 1/2 beger rømme
  • 1 fedd hvitløk, finhakket
  • 1 ts løkpulver
  • 1 ts hvitløkpulver
  • 1/4 ts salt
  • nykvernet pepper
  • 1 ss sitronsaft
  • 400 gr kjøttdeig
  • 400 gr karbonadedeig
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 ts salt
  • nykvernet pepper
  • 1 pk bacon
  • tomat
  • salat
  • løk

Fremgangsmåte

Dersom du skal bake hamburgerbrød, bør du begynne å lage disse et par timer før du har tenkt å spise.

  • Bland rømmen med hvitløk, hvitløkpulver, løkpulver, salt, pepper og sitronsaft.
  • Sett i kjøleskapet til maten skal serveres.
  • Skjær opp grønnsakene i tynne skiver og vask salaten godt.
  • Bland kjøtt, egg, salt og pepper godt sammen.
  • Del deigen i åtte like store emner. Trill til baller og trykk dem ned slik at de får burgerfasong.
  • Sett kaldt til de skal stekes/grilles om det ikke gjøres med en gang.
  • Stek bacon og sett til side.
  • Stek burgerne i ca. 2 minutter på hver side på høy varme om du liker burgerne medium stekt.
  • Skjær hamburgerbrødene i to.
  • Legg salat på bunnen og en burger oppå. Fyll deretter på med bacon, tomater og løk. Legg på en skje med ranch-dressing og sett toppen av hamburgerbrødet oppå.

Spis med en gang, evt. med bakte potetbåter og ketchup ved siden av. Vel bekomme.
