Har du forsøkt å spise en sky? Det har ikke jeg heller, men en fromasj må være noe i nærheten – lett, luftig og med en herlig smak i dette tilfellet av bringebær. Dette er en nydelig, luksuriøs dessert som passer godt til store og små anledninger. Om en måneds tid er det Tuppens konfirmasjon, og jeg forsøker ut forskjellige desserter. Kanskje blir det denne, men det er fortsatt flere som skal testes.

Jeg ser det er stor forvirring der ute på internettet, med hensyn til hva som er mousse og hva som er fromasj. Men så vidt jeg forstår det, er det slik at en fromasj gjørs stiv av gelatin, mens en mousse blir stiv av marengs. Dermed er denne desserten en fromasj.

Fromasjen fylte jeg i små sjokoladeformer som jeg lagde ved å kle små former med aluminiumsfolie og deretter helle flere omganger med smeltet sjokolade oppi som jeg sakte dreide rundt til det ble et sjokoladeskall. Dette var en utrolig møysommelig prosess og resultatet ble sånn heller så som så da skallene gikk litt i stykker når jeg skulle ta dem ut av aluminiumsfolien. Neste gang jeg skal lage denne desserten vil jeg definitivt kjøpe ferdige sjokoladeskall. Det vil være veldig tidsbesparende og også sannsynligvis mye bedre da skallene ble for tykke etter min mening. Så med mindre du er veldig flink til å arbeide med sjokolade og har former for dette bruket vil jeg bestemt anbefale å kjøpe ferdige skall.

Dette er en dessert som er enkle å lage til mange, og som kan lages på forhånd. Det teller jo også en god del når det er mye som skal ordnes til en fest, og man ikke har lyst til å tilbringe tid under middagen med å stå på kjøkkenet.

Ingredienser

  • 4 plater gelatin
  • 300 gr. bringebær
  • saften av 1/2 lime
  • 1 ss melis (kan sløyfes)
  • 2 ss sukker
  • 2 egg
  • 2,5 dl fløte
  • 10 sjokoladeskall

Fremgangsmåte

  • Legg gelatinplatene i kaldt vann i ca. 10 minutter.
  • Mos bringebærene med en stavmixer og press bærpureen gjennom en sil.
  • Ha i limesaften og smak evt. til med litt melis dersom du synes brinegbærpureen er alt for sur.
  • Pisk egg og sukker til en stiv eggedosis.
  • Pisk fløten til en litt slapp krem.
  • Varm opp halvparten av bringebærpureen i en liten gryte. Klem ut vann av gelatinen og rør den ut i den varme bringebærpureen. Bland inn resten av bringebærpureen.
  • Når pureen er fingervarm blandes den inn i eggedosisen og til slutt røres kremen inn. Sørg for at alt er godt blandet.
  • Fordel bringebærfromasjen i sjokoladeskallene og sett kaldt i minst tre timer.

Kan gjerne lages dagen i forveien. Ved servering pyntes det med friske bær og litt mynteblader.
