Er du lei tørr sjokoladekake? Da kan du med hell prøve denne, for den er en skikkelig saftig sjokoladekake med squash! Det er er squashen som gjør at dette blir en supersaftig sjokoladekake. Squash inneholder veldig mye væske og det bidrar altså til at denne kaken er alt annet enn tørr og kjedelig, og den holder seg saftig lenge. Det er både kakao og sjokolade i denne og dermed er topp sjokoladesmak også sikret. Så hva nøler du med?

Sliter du med å klare 5 om dagen, kan faktisk denne kaken bidra, for det er altså temmelig mye squash i den. Ofte må man bruke salt på squashen og la det trekke ut fuktighet før squashen skal brukes. Sånn er det ikke her. Riv squashen og ha den rett oppi bakebollen, for sammen med litt olje, er dette faktisk det eneste våte i deigen.

Ingredienser

  • 3 dl sukker
  • 5 dl hvetemel
  • 1/2 dl kakao
  • 1/2 ts salt
  • 1 1/2 ts natron
  • 1 dl rapsolje
  • 1 middels stor squash
  • 100 gr mørk sjokolade
  • 50 gr valnøtter

Fremgangsmåte

  • Forvarm ovnen til 180 grader.
  • Bland alle de tørre ingrediensene (sukker, mel, kakao, salt og natron) godt i en bolle.
  • Rør inn oljen. (det ser ikke ut som det er nok fuktighet på dette punktet).
  • Riv squashen på den fine siden av rivjernet og bland inn. Ikke klem ut noe fuktighet.
  • Rør godt så alt blir blandet.
  • Hakk sjokolade og valnøtter og rør inn i deigen.
  • Hell deigen over i en liten langpanne eller ildfast form (20x30 cm).
  • Stek kaken i ovnen i ca. 25 minutter.

hei. Denne oppskriften ser veldig fristende ut. det er ikke lett å vite hvor stor en middels stor squash er da de kan bli 1 meter lange og veie maaange kilo! Kan du skrive hvor mange gram det skal være i oppskriften?

Åja, hagesquash kan bli kjempestor. Jeg har ikke squash i hagen, så jeg har brukt butikksquahs. Jeg antar at de veier 400-500 gr. Det er ikke supernøye,men 1 m og mange kilo er alt for mye : )
