Vanligvis er jeg meget skeptisk til å brette ting ut på internett, eller andre steder for den saks skyld. Men en kylling tjener definitivt på å bli brettet ut. Denne måten å tilberede en kylling på er veldig enkel og gir et godt og saftig resultat med en vidunderlig saus på kjøpet.

Jeg er veldig glad i å steke en hel kylling. Det blir som regel mer saftig enn å dele kyllingen i stykker og steke dem etterpå. Men det er ikke alltid så lett å stå der å bakse med en hel varm kylling og forsøke å skjære den opp i pene stykker. Det viste seg imidlertid å være veldig lett med denne utbrettede kyllingen. Her ligger jo kyllingen helt flatt så risikoen for at den skal rulle rundt eller at noe annet i den retningen skal skje er minimal.  Da blir  den straks mye lettere å hanskes med.

I dag har kyllingen fått følge av hvitløk – masse hvitløk og tomater og hvitvin. Sammen med stekekraften fra kyllingen blir det en super sjysaus.

Ingredienser

  • 1 stor kylling
  • 1/2 hvitløk (10-15 fedd)
  • 3 tomater i båter
  • 1 dl hvitvin
  • salt og pepper
  • 75 gr smør
  • olje til smøring
  • friske urter

Fremgangsmåte

  • Klipp opp kyllingen langs ryggraden og klem den flat.
  • Tørk av og gni den inn med olje, salt og pepper.
  • Legg kyllingen i et ildfast fat med hvitvinsfeddene og tomatbåtene rundt den.
  • Hell på hvitvin og legg smørklatter oppå kyllingen.
  • Sett den i ovnen på 200 grader.
  • Stek den i ca. 1 time. Øs over kraft to tre ganger i løpet av steketiden.
  • Ta kyllingen ut av ovnen og stikk med en kniv i låret. Dersom kraften er klar er den ferdig.
  • La kyllingen hvile i 10-15 minutter.

Dryss over friske urter før servering. I dag serverte jeg kyllingen med hjemmelaget potetmos og aspargesbønner.
