Sammen med grønnsaksuppe, er blomkålsuppe en av de første tingene jeg husker at jeg lagde da jeg var temmelig ung. Og det er kanskje ikke så rart, for det er i grunn såre enkelt. I sin enkleste form er det jo bare å koke opp blomkål i vann og buljong og mose det, og voila så har man en suppe. Så er det jo selvsagt slik at suppen blir bedre med litt flere ingredienser, men stadig vekk ikke så mye fiksfakseri med denne suppen.

Denne gangen har jeg tilsatt fløte og parmesan, og servere med sprøstekt bacon, og straks er suppen litt mer spennende. Vel, gourmetmat blir det kanskje aldri. Men er det mat i en fei, jeg er ute etter, er dette et godt og sunt alternativ.

Ingredienser

  • 2 blomkålhoder
  • 1,5 l vann
  • 2 terninger hønsebuljong
  • 1,5 dl kremfløte
  • 50 gr parmesanost
  • 1 pk. bacon

Fremgangsmåte

  • Rens blomkålhodene og del dem i buketter.
  • Hold av noen små buketter som kokes for seg til slutt.
  • Kok resten av blomkålen i vannet og buljongen til den er helt mør.
  • Sprøstek baconet.
  • Kjør blomkålen og kokevannet glatt med stavmikser eller i en blender.
  • Ha i fløte og parmesanost.
  • Kok de resterende blomkålbukettene.

Server suppen rykende varm med blomkålbukettene og bacon. Det er godt med rundstykker ved siden av også.
