Så var det søndags kveld igjen og på tide å dele en ny ukemeny. Som vanlig starter jeg uken med en vegetarmiddag. Jeg synes det er en god start på uken og denne gangen er det en fargerik rett med masse farge og smak. Deilige, fargeglade paprikaer fylt med quinoa og smaker fra middelhavet. Vi spiser jo ikke bare med munnen, men også med øynene, så jeg tenker hvorfor ikke forsette med mer fargerik mat i form av en gryterett med reker og indiske smaker. Den er jo en fryd både for gane og øye. Onsdagen tror jeg det får bli en variant av gulasj tilpasset litt travle dager med kjøttdeig i stedet for kjøtt som må koke lenge. Og selv om retten ikke får den kompleksiteten og dybden som en kjøttgryte som har kokt i flere timer har. Er dette så absolutt en varmende og deilig hverdagsmiddag. På torsdag blir det italiensk som vanlig og denne gangen foreslår jeg spaghetti alla puttanesca. Det er en uhyre enkel spagettirett men allikevel full av gode smaker og best av alt, den står på bordet på veldig kort tid. Ikke så dumt i hverdagen det altså.

Helgen sparker vi igang med pizza og denne uken flotter vi oss med biff og paprika.Det er fortsatt skreisesong og den flott fisken kler godt en fyrrig spanjol. Så denne gangen serverer jeg skrei med choriza på lørdagskvelden. Et glass rødvin ved siden av vil nok ikke være helt galt. Endlig er det mulig å invitere noen (få) gjester så hvorfor ikke avslutte uken med å lage en stor gryte og be familie eller venner på besøk. Lag for eksempel kyllingfrikassé det er deilig sausemat som nok vil falle i smak hos de fleste.

I det jeg skriver dette innser jeg at jeg har vært på en aldri så liten paprikatrip denne uken. Til mitt forsvar kan jeg jo bare si at paprika er både godt og sunt og jeg blir glad av de friske fargene, så hvorfor ikke?
