I dag har vi tent det første adventslyset og vi er offisielt inne i den søte adventstiden. Jeg elsker denne tiden på året. For meg er det en tid med forventninger til en hyggelig høytid, forberedelser og mye hygge underveis.  Men jeg har jo forståelse for at ikke alle ser helt sånn på det. Kanskje kjenner du mer på stress og forventningspress. I mitt tilfelle er en vellykket adventstid et resultat av god planlegging. Jeg fordeler alle oppgavene utover hele måneden og gjøre litt hver dag. På den måten blir det hele ganske så overkommelig. En annen ting er å skalere ned og ta bort det som ikke er viktig og heller gjøre noen få ting som faktisk er med på å gjøre julen til en fin høytid som kan tilbringes på den måten man ønsker sammen med de man vil.  Skjønner at det ikke alltid er sånn, men en del ting gjør man nok på autopilot fordi man «alltid» har gjort det sånn. Sånne ting kan man i hvert fall fjerne.

Denne uken skal jeg lage medisterkaker og pusse sølvtøy samt bruke litt tid på å finne ut hva jeg skal kjøpe av julegaver til de jeg fremdeles ikke har kjøpt til. Utover det har jeg tenkt til å se en julefilm eller to, kanskje drikke sesongens første gløgg og høre på julemusikk. Fordi jeg vet mange har det travelt om dagen, har jeg laget en ukemeny med middagsretter som er raske å tilberede, men allikevel er proppfulle av gode smaker. Håper du finner noe som frister og ha en flott første adventsuke!
