Hva gjør man når noen i familien en dag kommer og sier at de ønsker å kutte ut kjøttet? Man gjør selvsagt så godt man kan. En løsning er jo at alle kutter kjøttforbruket drastisk. Det er jo nok det beste både for helsa og planeten, men alle er jo ikke klare for det. Et annet alternativ er å servere kjøtt ved siden av. Resultatet av dette kan jo imidlertid fort bli at det ikke blir så mye som metter for fleksitarianeren. Dette er tanker jeg har balet med i det siste. Resultatet hjemme hos oss er foreløpig litt mer fiske. og plantebaserte middager, samt mindre kjøtt de dagene vi har det.

Jeg er ikke så glad i de kjøtterstatningsproduktene som finnes. De er ultraprosesserte og neppe særlig bra for kroppen. Det er selvsagt et alternativ av og til, men absolutt ikke noe jeg vil ha som en del av vårt daglige kosthold.

Det skal være rikelig med sopp i skogen nå, og sopp og pasta går hånd i hånd. Lag en deilig pastarett med kantareller og bacon. Og ønsker du en vegetarisk rett, kutter du rett og slett bare ut baconet.

Har du prøvd å bake druer i ovnen? Det er skikkelig godt. En av middagsrettene denne uken er stekt kyllingbryst med druer. I oppskriften har jeg brukt røde druer, men det går fint å bruke grønne også. Og hvorfor ikke benytte muligheten til å bruke Vittoria druer fra Italia som er i sesong nå. Det er mine absolutte favoritter, og jeg ser hvert år frem til de få ukene i august når de er å få i butikken.

Skal du ha gjester i helgen, anbefaler jeg å servere havets frukter. Det er gjestemat som imponerer samtidig som det er enkel mat. Kanskje ikke den billigste akkurat, men skulle det være en liten pott igjen av feriebudsjettet er det jo bare å klaske til.
