I går lagde jeg selleri og potetgrateng, og for en deilig rett det ble. Denne rakkeren er rett og slett nydelig. Ikke et negativt ord om vanlige fløtegratinerte poteter, men denne gratengen er rett og slett hakket hvassere. Selleri har en frisk og litt skarp smak som rett og slett gir litt mer karakter.

Denne gratengen passer ypperlig til høstens vilt og lam, men den kan også godt spises som en selvstendig rett sammen med grønnsaker som blomkål og brokkoli, eller en frisk tomatsalat, eller… ja det er i grunnen bare fanstasien og dine egne preferanser som setter grenser.

Dersom du har en mandolin er den også ganske lett å lage. Og har du ikke en mandolin, synes jeg du skal vurdere å skaffe deg eg. Det gjør jobben så mye lettere hver gang noe skal skjæres i tynn skiver.  Bare pass på fingrene, for med en tur innom legevakten går det jo ikke raskere.

Ingredienser

  • 400 gr sellerirot
  • 400 gr poteter
  • 3 dl fløtemelk
  • 1/2 ts salt
  • nykvernet pepper
  • 1 ts smør

Fremgangsmåte

  • Sett ovnen på 220 grader.
  • Rens selleriroten og skrell potetene.
  • Skjær selleri og poteter i tynne skiver, bruk gjerne en mandolin om du har.
  • Smør en ildfast form godt med smøret.
  • Fordel selleri og potetskiver i formen.
  • Kok opp fløtemelken og hell over selleriblandingen i formen.
  • Sett inn i ovnen og stek i ca. 30 minutter.
  • Sjekk med en kniv at grønnsakene er møre.
