Til jul går det mye mandler, og de brukes til litt av hvert. Det går i marsipan, brente mandler, mandler i gløggen, kransekake og pynt på sirupsnipper for å nevne noe. Jeg er veldig glad i mandler, men bare å spise dem hele. Så snart de blir malt opp og inngår i et eller annet bakverk sier jeg nei takk. Men salte mandler det står jeg absolutt ikke over. Disse er veldig gode å servere som snack til et glass med noe godt å drikke, for eksempel. Eller de kan serveres sammen med et par skinkeskiver og litt god ost på en tapastallerken. Eller de kan hakkes grovt og drysses over en salat. Valget er ditt. Gode er de i hvert fall, og lette å lage. Så det går fint an å rekke å lage og spise flere omganger før jul også.

Ingredienser

  • 200 gr mandler
  • 3 ss salt
  • 2 dl vann

Fremgangsmåte

  • Forvarm ovnen til 150 grader.
  • Kok opp vann og salt og ha mandlene oppi.
  • La det koke i 5 minutter.
  • Slå av varmen og legg på lokk. La mandlene trekke i saltlaken i 10 minutter. Rør et par ganger slik at alle mandlene får like mye salt på seg.
  • Hell av vannet og legg mandlene på et stekebrett kledd med bakepapir. Spre dem utover slik at de ikke ligger oppå hverandre.
  • Sett brettet med mandlene inn i ovnen og la dem bake i ca. 20-25 minutter.
  • Rør et par ganger slik at de blir like tørre på begge sider.
  • Ta mandlene ut og kjøl dem ned.
  • Dersom du synes det er for mye salt på mandlene kan du gni dem i et kjøkkenhåndkle før de legges i en boks.
