Pin

I hagen har jeg en diger salviebusk. Det begynte i fjor med at jeg kjøpte en liten plante på gartneriet. Planten var på størrelse med en lik urt man kjøper i butikken. I løpet av sommeren i fjor vokste den seg til en stor plante. Jeg var litt usikker på om den klarte å overvintre, men det gjorde den og i løpet av denne sommeren har den blitt en diger busk. Den breier seg utover de andre urtene i urtebedet. Og den er ny mye større enn en hardbarket italiensk husmor med svart belte i salviebruk vil klar å bruke i løpet av et år.

Og alt dette startet med at jeg spiste pasta med salviesmør.  Dette er en rett som til tross for at den er usedvanlig enkel å lage smaker himmelsk. Salvie har jo en litt spesiell smak, men sammen med smøret og litt sitron blir det en helt fantastisk kombinasjon.

Her har jeg brukt en pastatype som heter Casarecce. Den er litt kompakt. Det liker jeg godt til akkurat denne retten, men annen type pasta kan også helt fint brukes.

Ingredienser

  • 1 pakke pasta (500 gr. tørr)
  • 100 gr smør
  • saften fra 1/2 sitron
  • ca. 15 salvieblader i tynne strimler

Fremgangsmåte

  • Kok pastaen etter anvisning på pakken.
  • Mens pastaen koker, gjøres smøret i stand.
  • Smelt det og la de surre til det har blitt brunt, men ikke brent. Hold det varmt.
  • Ta til side litt av pastavannet (1 dl) før resten av vannet helles av.
  • Rett før servering has salvien og sitronsaften oppi smøret. Hell smøret over pastaen og bland godt. For å få en litt mer kremete og fuktig saus, kan pastavannet røres inn.

Server med salat og masse revet parmesan over. Vel bekomme.
