Det å bake grønnsakene i ovnen, får etter min erfaring frem det beste i dem. Smaken blir søtere og mer konsentrert. I dag har jeg laget ovnsbakte gulrøtter med miso og andre gode smaker. Miso er en japansk smakstilsetter som er laget av gjærede soyabønner og ris. Det høres kanskje ikke så fristende ut, men det har en utrolig rik umamismak og er også ganske salt. Miso får kjøpt i asiatiske forretninger og siden det ikke er så mye som skal brukes av gangen holder den lenge. I kjøleskapet har den lang holdbarhet.

Nok om miso – det var disse gulrøttene. De ble rett og slett kjempegode. Derfor sier jeg: LAG MANGE, for de forsvinner fort. Jeg lagde en marinade av miso, olivenolje, hvitløk, ingefær og chili som jeg blandet gulrøttene i før de gikk inn i ovnen. Etterpå drysset jeg bare over litt hakket persille og pepper og ringlet litt god olivenolje over. Gulrøttene ble ikke for hotte, men fikk akkurat passe sting til at de ble interessante. Varmen i ovnen gjorde dem også gulrotsmaken veldig konsentrert og søt.

Disse gulrøttene passer kjempegodt til fisk eller kylling. De er også gode kalde, så de passer godt på et koldtbord som en eller flere grønnsakssretter. Er du interessert i flere ovnsbakte grønnsaker, kan du sjekke disse ovnsbakte rosenkål eller ovnsbakt blomkål.

Ingredienser

  • 8 gulrøtter
  • 1 finhakket chili
  • 2 fedd hvitløk
  • 1 ss revet ingefær
  • 3 ss olivenolje
  • 2 toppede ts rød miso
  • persille
  • pepper

Fremgangsmåte

  • Sett ovnen på 200 gr varmluft, eller 220 gr. vanlig.
  • Skjær gulrøttene i 4 deler på langs.
  • Bland sammen resten av ingrediensene.
  • Legg gulrøttene i et ildfast fat og hell over marinaden og bland godt. Bruk gjerne hendene for å sikre at alle gulrøttene før marinade.
  • Stek gulrøttene til de er møre, ca. 30 minutter.

Dryss over litt finhakket persille,  kvern over litt pepper og ringle gjerne litt mer olivenolje over og server. Vel bekomme.
