Det er så populært for tiden å ovnsbake grønnsaker. Det er i grunnen ikke så rart, for i prosessen blir blir sødmen i grønnsakene lokket frem.  Blomkål er en av mine favorittgrønnsaker, så jeg fikk naturligvis lyst til å prøve å bake den i ovnen. Når jeg bakte den i ovnen forsvant den litt skarpe, rå kålsmaken og ble erstattet av en nesten søt og litt nøtteaktig smak. Ovnsbakt blomkål med urter viste seg å bli en særdeles vellykket grønnsaksrett. Liker du ovensbakte grønnsaker, kan du også prøve ovnsbakt rosenkål med valnøtter.

Jeg liker veldig godt å bruke urter i matlagingen. Det bidrar både med smak og farge til forskjellige retter. Det finnes nesten alltid en urt eller en blanding av flere som kan bidra til å løfte smaken. Persille er etter min mening en urt som passer veldig bra sammen med blomkål. Derfor valgte jeg å tilsette rikelig med persille. Det bidro virkelig til å gjøre inntrykket av retten mye lettere. Dessuten ble den jo mye penere med det grønne.

Denne passer supert både til fisk og kjøtt, og også ypperlig sammen med andre vegetarretter.

Ingredienser

  • 2 middels store blomkålhoder
  • 2 ss olivenolje
  • salt og pepper
  • 2 fedd hvitløk, finhakket
  • 1 kvist rosmarin, finhakket
  • 1 dl bredbladet persille, hakket
  • 1/2 rød chili, finhakket

Fremgangsmåte

  • Forvarm ovnen til 220 grader varmluft.
  • Del blomkålhodene i jevne biter.
  • Legg blomkålen på stekebrettet og ringle over olivenolje, bland godt så alle deler av blomkålen er dekket. Krydre med salt og pepper.
  • Stek blomkålen i 15 minutter, rør litt underveis. Blomkålen skal nå ha fått farge og ha blitt myk. Hvis ikke, stek litt lenger.
  • Ta stekebrettet med blomkålen ut og tilsett hvitløk, chili og rosmarin og bland godt. Sett varmen ned til 200 grader.
  • Sett brettet inn igjen og stek i ytterligere 5 minutter.
  • Ta blomkålen ut og bland inn persillen.
