I dag skriver vi 1. juli og mange starter nok ferien sin i dag. To, tre eller kanskje fire etterlengtede uker med færre planer og krav, mer lediggang og kanskje en stabel med bøker. For oss som liker å lage mat, er det litt bedre tid til det og til å prøve ut nye retter eller råvare. Eller kanskje er du blant de som liker å skaffe maten, fisking, bærplukking eller kanskje på en hylle i et supermarked i et annet land. Jeg elsker å gå på markeder i utlandet, og se alle de herlige grønnsakene og fruktene som er sirlig stablet opp og sortert etter farge, størrelse eller andre kriterier jeg ikke helt forstår. Det er uansett spennende å se, smake og forsøke å kommunisere med de som står på den andre siden av bordet. Det er ferie for meg.

Nedenfor finner du mitt forslag til middager i den kommende uke. Det er som vanlig både kjøtt, fisk og fugl. Noe til å lage på grillen, noe kan lages inne på kjøkkenet og noe skal nesten ikke lages i det hele tatt. Jeg vet at sesongen for skalldyr er om vinteren, men jeg vet også at det er veldig mange (meg inkludert) som synes det passer svært godt å kose seg med det en varm sommerdag.
