REKLAME – Taco er en populær middag i mange norske familier. Taco er mye mer enn bare den vanlige varianten med kjøttdeig. Kanskje burde fisketaco stå litt oftere på menyen, for det er rett og slett kjempegodt. Dessuten er det jo greit å spise litt mer fisk og litt mindre kjøtt.

Denne gangen brukte jeg filet av lyr til min fisketaco, men all slags hvit fisk kan i grunnen brukes. Lyren tilhører fiskefamilien og egner seg godt til steking. Det er ikke all fisk som egner seg like godt til steking. Det kan derfor være greit å sjekke på forhånd slik at du ikke ender opp med en fisk som faller fullstendig fra hverandre når den stekes.

Jeg må innrømme at jeg ikke synes de tacolefsene som er å få kjøpt i butikken er kjempegode. Det har derfor hendt at jeg har bakt lefser til taco selv. Det er imidlertid litt tidkrevende, så på en hverdag som dette får kjøpelompene gjøre nytten. Er du blant de som liker å spice opp tacoen med syltet jalapeño som du kjøper i butikken? Da synes jeg du skal prøve å lage dine egne syltede chili. Det er kjempeenkelt og blir skikkelig godt.

Ingredienser

  • 600 gr filet av lyr eller annen hvit fisk
  • 1 ts hvitløkpulver
  • 1 ts spisskummen
  • 1 ts løkpulver
  • 1 ts chilipulver
  • nykvernet pepper
  • 1 ts salt
  • skallet fra 1 lime
  • 1/2 dl hvetemel
  • olje til steking
  • tacolefser til 4 personer
  • grønnsaker
  • 1 rømmebeger
  • 2 fedd hvitløk
  • 1/2 ts salt
  • saften fra 1 lime

Fremgangsmåte

  • Bland sammen alle krydderne og hvetemelet og ha det i en liten pose.
  • Skjær fisken opp i strimler og legg den i posen med krydder. Rist godt så all fisken blir dekket med krydderblandingen.
  • Skjær grønnsaker i biter. Velg det du liker best for eksempel, tomater, agurk, paprika, salat, løk, avokado, mais, jalapeno eller kål.
  • Finhakk hvitløken og bland den sammen med rømme, salt og limesaften.
  • Varm nøytral olje i en stekepanne og stek fisken. Steketiden vil avhenge av tykkelsen på strimelene, men dette går fort, kanskje et par minutter.
  • Varm tacolefser.

Server alt hver for seg slik at alle kan forsyne seg med det de liker og dermed komponere sin egen taco. Vel bekomme.

Tips

Har du ikke lyst til å blande ditt eget tacokrydder, kan du fint bruke pulver fra pose. Dropp alle krydderne i oppskriften og bland 1/2 pose ut med 1/2 dl hvetemel.
