Snart er det helg, og dermed på tide å tenke på fredagskosen. Hjemme hos oss er taco populær helge- og kosemat. Stemningen blir god når oppskårede grønnsaker, salsa, guacamole, kjøtt og tacolefser kommer på bordet. Det vil si i hvert fall hos familiens yngre garde. Mor i familien, altså jeg, har litt problemer med de lefsene som er å få i butikken. De er ofte tørre og smaker mer som papp enn lefser. Glad ble derfor jeg da jeg oppdaget at det ikke var særlig vanskelig å lage lefsene selv. Faktisk er det ganske lett. Og tro meg resultatet ble ufattelig mye bedre. En annen liga liksom.

Det eneste man må være klar over, og det var ikke jeg, er at det tar ganske lang tid å lage lefsene. Hver lefse tar kanskje 3-4 minutter å steke, men så skal den først kjevles ut. Så man må nok regne med ca. 5 minutter per lefse. Det høres kanskje ikke så mye ut, men med 12 stykker i alt tar det omtrent 1 time å lage lefsene. Det tenkte ikke jeg på, så derfor ble det litt sen tacomiddag den dagen jeg gjorde det. Men vet man om det, og legger det inn i programmet er det helt OK. Man kan jo høre på musikk, ta et glass vin, snakke med barn og andre som befinner seg på kjøkkenet mens man holder på. Da blir det ikke så ille.

Ingredienser

  • 6 dl hvetemel
  • 1/2 ts salt
  • 3 ss rapsolje
  • 2 dl vann

Fremgangsmåte

Oppskriften gir 12 lefser

  • Ha alle ingrediensene i en bolle og bland godt. Du trenger ikke elte, bare kna til det er en jevn deig.
  • La deigen hvile i min 30 minutter.
  • Del den i 12 like store emner. Kjevle hvert emne så tynt som mulig.
  • Varm en jernpanne så varm som mulig og stek lefsene i et par minutter på hver side. Når de begynner å få brune flekker kan de snus.
  • Det skal ikke være fett i pannen. Etter hver som jeg stekte pakket jeg de ferdige lefsene inn i et kjøkkenhåndkle.
