Fiskegrateng er en populær rett hos mange, og kanskje særlig i barnefamilier. I hver fall hjemme hos oss. Tuppen sier at fiskegrateng er så godt fordi det nesten ikke smaker fisk. Vel, vel hun om det. Jeg synes også det er godt, men ikke derfor. For meg er fiskegrateng såkalt «comfort-food», altså mat som vekker gode minner. Jeg har skrevet om fiskegrateng tidligere også, men her kommer en ny variant – fiskegrateng med blomkål.

For de som har problemer med å få barna til å spise grønnsaker er dette en ypperlig variant, fordi blomkålen har samme farge som de andre ingrediensene og derfor synes den nesten ikke. Og smaken er såpass nøytral at den ikke kjennes så godt heller. Jeg river blomkålen på det groveste på rivjernet. Da blir det små biter som forsvinner i maten. Uansett om det er viktig å kamuflere grønnsakene eller ikke så er det en fin måte å få mer grønnsaker inn i kostholdet på. Og akkurat det kan vel ikke skade noen.

Ingredienser

  •  600 gr torskefilet kokt
  • 2 dl kokt makaroni
  • 1 blomkålhode
  • 50 gr. smør
  • 3 ss hvetemel
  • 3 dl melk
  • ½ ts salt
  • pepper
  • revet muskatnøtt (litt)
  • 4 egg
  • Griljermel

Fremgangsmåte

  • Lag den hvite sausen først. Smelt smøret i en liten kasserolle, rør i melet og spe med melken. La sausen småkoke noen minutter og tilsett salt og krydderet.
  • Ta sausen av varmen og la den avkjøle seg litt.
  • I mens skill eggene og del fisken i småbiter. Riv blomkålen på det groveste på rivjernet.
  • Rør inn en og en eggeplomme i den hvite sausen.
  • Bland deretter fisken, blomkålen og makaronien i den hvite sausen.
  • Stivpisk eggehvitene og fold dem forsiktig i blandingen.
  • Hell alt i en godt smurt ildfast form og strø griljermel over. Du kan også bruke porsjonsformer slik jeg har gjort på bildet.
  • Stek i ovnen ved 200 grader i ca. 40 minutter.

Server gjerne med kokte poteter, smeltet smør og en frisk råkostsalat.
