Det er så rart med det. I desember lengter jeg etter julematen; ribbe, pinnekjøtt, kaker, godteri, nøtter og alt det andre, men når nyttårsaften er tilbakelagt er det andre ting kroppen skriker etter. Da er det lettere mat som masse grønnsaker og fisk som frister mest. Men fortsatt er det romjul og nyttårsaften og det skal jo feires først.

Med mindre du har bodd under en stein i ødemarken det siste året, har du nok fått med deg alt snakket om viktigheten av å spise opp all maten du kjøper inn og lager i stand. I julen blir det mange rester, og derfor har jeg lagt inn et par restemiddager i ukens meny. Har du fortsatt ribberester, kan du lage pekinggris av ribbeerester. Jeg har også flere andre forslag til å bruke opp ribberestene, så om du ikke har lyts på pekinggris, kan du kanskje la deg friste av noen av de andre oppskriftene. Mange har kalkun på nyttårsaften, og da kan det jo være en idé å lage deilige club sandwicher av kalkunrester.

Til nyttårsaften har jeg satt sammen en deilig tre-retters med kamskjell til forrett, and til hovedrett og en søt panna cotta med karamellsmak og friske bær til dessert.
