I dag byr jeg på karamell panna cotta med røde bær. For å få litt ekstra smak på panna cottaen har jeg kokt sukkeret til en lys karamell før jeg tilsetter fløtemelken og vaniljen.  Det gir en herlig mild karamellsmak som passer ypperlig til den myke konsistensen på panna cottaen. Prikken over i’en er de friske bærene som sørger for at desserten ikke blir bare søt og myk, men også frisk og litt sprø på grunn av granateplekjernene.

Karamell panna cotta med røde bær er en virkelig festdessert. Dette er noe de aller fleste liker, og som er like lett å lage til mange som til få. Den bør dessuten lages flere timer i forveien. Lag den gjerne dagen i forveien, og rens granateplet. Sett alt tildekket med plast i kjøleskapet, så er det bare å ta frem og legge på bringebær og granateplekjernene rett før servering. Det er lett som en plett og tar jo litt av stresset på selskapsdagen ned.

Ingredienser

  • 1 dl hvitt sukker
  • 3, 5 dl kremfløte
  • 1,5 dl h-melk
  • 1 vaniljestang
  • 3 gelatinplater
  • bringebær
  • granateple

Fremgangsmåte

  • Legg gelatinplatene i kaldt vann.
  • Smelt sukkeret i en gryte og la det småkoke til det har fått en lys karamellsmak. Ikke rør i gryten.
  • Del vaniljestangen på langs og skrap ut frøene.
  • Tilsett fløte, melk og vaniljefrø og stang i karamellen og la det småkoke til all karamellen er løst opp. La det trekke et par minutter
  • Klem vannet ut av gelatinen, og løs den opp i fløteblandingen.
  • La det avkjøle seg litt før du heller i porsjonsglass eller en stor serveringsbolle.
  • Pynt med bær rett før servering.
