Har du smakt sitronkarameller før? Det er skikkelig digg. Disse har en konsistens som fugde og smaker friskt av sitron. De smaker ikke som Fox, men det er definitivt ikke tvil om at det er sitron de smaker. Jeg har prøvd å finne en god fudgeoppskrift lenge, men de aller fleste oppskrifter inneholder kondensert melk. Det gir etter min mening en ikke helt optimal smak, for å si det mildt. Denne oppskriften inneholder ikke den uheldige ingrediensen, og smaker derfor som ordentlige karameller med sitron.

Karameller er blant det godteriet jeg definitivt må ha i julen, og da tenker jeg på de gode, gammeldagse fløtekaramellene. De kommer jeg helt sikkert fortsatt til å lage, men disse sitronkaramellene kan meget vel komme til å bli et fast følge på godtefatet, for de er farlig gode de også.

Ingredienser

  • 3 dl kremfløte
  • 4 dl sukker
  • 50 gr smør
  • 4 ss glyserol
  • skallet fra 1 sitron
  • 2 ss sitronsaft
  • 150 gr hvit sjokolade

Fremgangsmåte

  • Bland alle ingrediensene unntatt sjokoladen i en gryte og kok opp på middels varme.
  • Mens massen koker, hakk sjokoladen i småbiter.
  • Kok massen til den når 120 grader.
  • Trekk kasserollen til side og rør inn sjokoladen.
  • Kle en form som er ca. 20x20 cm med bakepapir, og hell massen oppi.
  • La massen avkjøles helt før du skjærer i terninger.
