Har du travle dager i desember, men har allikevel lyst på noe skikkelig godt, har jeg oppskriften her. Denne retten er proppfull av gode smaker, men lager seg nesten helt selv. Her er alt i samme form. Så mens maten steker, kan andre ting ordnes. Uansett hvor travelt det er, er det hyggelig å kunne samle venner eller familie rundt bordet til et hyggelig avbrekk eller avslutning på en travel dag.  Dette er skikkelig kosemat. Kyllingen får flott, sprøtt skinn og potetene som halvveis er kokt i fettet fra kyllingen og smøret smaker himmelsk. Hvitløksfeddene blir mye som smør og smaker også absolutt vidunderlig, Så neste gang tror jeg nok jeg kommer til å tilsette enda flere.

Aller best blir denne retten dersom du velger store gode kyllinglår fra Stange, Holte eller noe lignende. (og det skriver jeg ikke fordi jeg får betalt for å si det, men fordi det smaker så veldig mye bedre enn de stakkars små kyllinglårene fra Prior).  Bruk små poteter. Jeg har brukt amadinepoteter, men får du tak i perlepoteter, eller gulløye gourmet, eller noen andre norske småpoteter er det enda bedre. I denne retten blir alt tilberedt i samme form, så det eneste jeg serverer ved siden av er en blandet grønn salat med vinaigrette til. Enkelt, greit og veldig velsmakende.

Ingredienser

  • 4 kyllinglår
  • 8 små poteter
  • 5 fedd hvitløk
  • 2 kvister rosmarin
  • 3 ss olivenolje
  • 4 klatter smør
  • salt og pepper
  • --
  • 1 pakke salat
  • 1/2 ts dijonsennep
  • 2 ts hvitvinseddik
  • salt og pepper
  • 3 ss olivenolje

Fremgangsmåte

  • Begynn med å sette ovnen på 220 grader.
  • Klapp kyllinglårene tørre og dryss med rikelig salt og pepper på begge sider.
  • Ha olivenoljen i en ildfast form og legg kyllingen oppi.
  • Vask potetene godt og legg dem oppi også. Legg hvitløkfeddene oppi, uten å ta av skallet. Dryss over rosmarinblader og legg en smørklatt oppå hvert kyllinglår.
  • Sett formen inn i ovnen. La det steke i ca. 1 time.
  • Det samler seg en god del fett i bunnen av formen, og øs dette over kyllingen og potetene et par ganger i løpet av steketiden.
  • Stikk en spiss kniv inn i leddet på ett av lårene og sjekk at det pipler ut klar saft. Da er kyllingen ferdig.
  • Lag vinaigretten ved først å røre sennepen ut i eddiken. Ha oljen i i en tynn stråle mens du pisker. På denne måten blir dressingen tykk og blank.

Server med grønn salat og vinaigrette ved siden av.
