Jeg er ikke et veldig dessertmenneske, men sorbet er noe av det jeg liker veldig godt. Særlig synes jeg det er en fin og frisk avslutning på et litt tungt måltid. Denne sorbeten er veldig god, og enkel å lage selv om du ikke har iskremmaskin.  Den ble til en gang jeg hadde bestemt meg for at vi skulle ha jordbærsorbet til dessert, men det synes ikke butikken – for der var det ikke noe sorbet. Det var allerede litt ut på dagen samme dag som sorbeten skulle spises, så jeg var nødt til å være litt kreativ.

En pose frossen jordbær, litt limesaft, melis og vann. Det er alt som skal til for å lage denne deilig, friske sorbeten.  Jordbærsorbeten serverer jeg gjerne ved siden av brownies eller sjokoladekake, men den er like god alene.

Ingredienser

  • 1 pose frosne jordbær
  • 2 dl vann
  • 3 ss melis
  • saften fra 1/2 lime

Fremgangsmåte

  • Halvtin jorbærene og ha dem i en blender med resten av ingrediensene.
  • Kjør alt til en mos.
  • Smak på blandingen om den trenger mer melis eller lime, da er det bare å tilsette litt mer og kjøre noen omdreininger til.
  • Hvor mye søtt eller syrlig som trengs kommer helt an på hvor søte jordbærene er.
  •  Konsistensen skal være luftig og tyktflytende (omtrent som majones).
  • Dersom den er veldig tykk, tilsett litt mer væske.
  • Hell bærmosen i en liten beholder og sett i fryseren. Det er ikke nødvendig å røre underveis og etter 4-5 timer har den blitt akkurat passe stiv.
  • Dersom den ar stått over natten i fryseren, er det lurt å ta den ut ca. 1/2 time før den skal spises slik at den ikke er alt for hard.

Tips

Når jeg skriver at det er til åtte personer, er det ikke til åtte grådige barn, men akkurat passe til å legge opp pent på tallerken sammen med noe annet. Og da holder det fint til åtte.
