JUNI – Hva er vel bedre enn norske jordbær? Ingen ting. annet enn kanskje at sesongen er så kort. Men det er jo det som gjør dem ekstra attraktive – nettopp det at vi bare kan ha dem i noen korte sommermåneder. Deilige knall røde, søte jordbær med akkurat den riktige mengden syrlighet som gjør at de ikke tipper over kanten til for søte. Jeg har vokst opp med jordbær til dessert hver eneste dag i sesongen. Jeg husker selvplukk og min bestemors jordbæråker. Alt sammen herlige barndomsminner. Jordbærene ble nesten alltid spist sammen med is, og en sjelden gang rørt til syltetøy. Nå er jeg godt voksen og søker større variasjon. Nedenfor finner du mine 5 beste oppskrifter med jordbær.

Eton mess er en skikkelig deilig, nesten dekadent, men allikevel enkel dessert som har alt. Deilige søte jordbær, sprø marengs og myk krem. Bedre kan det knapt bli.

Denne sorbeten er noe av det beste jeg vet å servere sammen med brownies eller en annen sjokoladekake. Jordbær og sjokolade er en av de beste smakskombinasjonene jeg vet om og denne sorbeten har nok friskhet til å løfte en sjokoladesessert til en helt ny høyde.

Jordbær marinert i appelsin

Dette er en nydelig variant til de dagene du har lyst på å gjøre litt ekstra ut av jordbærene, men ikke gidder å gjøre så mye. Kombinasjonen av appelsinjuice og jordbær er utrolig god. Sammen med en kremdott eller litt is kan dette fort bli sommerens favorittdessert.

Dette er sommerkjeksene du bør ha på repertoaret ditt. De er veldig gode og laget på et blunk. En liten advarsel er på sin plass. Du kan like gjerne lage dobbel porsjon når du først er i gang med å lage disse, for de forsvinner farlig fort.

Denne oversikten ville ikke vært komplett uten jordbær med sjokoladetrekk. Igjen er det kombinasjonen jordbær og sjokolade. Den er altså helt uovervinnelig.  Det er ikke noen oppskrift på bloggen med disse, for det trenger man ikke. Lag dem ved å dyppe tørre jordbær i smeltet mørk sjokolade. La sjokoladen stivne helt og server – gjerne med et glass musserende. Da kan festen begynne!
