Her kommer en litt forsinket ukemeny. Det er mye som skjer for tiden og dermed strekker ikke alltid tiden til alt jeg gjerne vil rekke over. Men nå har jeg i hvert fall funnet tid til å sette meg ned å planlegge middager. Denne uken er det jo 17. mai, og hjemme hos oss betyr det spekemat til middag. Dette er mat som likes av de fleste og som i ganske stor grad kan gjøres klart på forhånd. Det er jo ikke sikkert at lysten til å kokkelere så voldsomt er til stede etter en lang dag på bena. Da synes jeg det er greit med ting som er klart og bare kan settes på bordet.

Når vi har spekemat pleier jeg å servere spekeskinke, fenalår, morrpølse, en slags salami og kanskje noe speket reinsdyrkjøtt. Er man så heldig å ha en slakter eller i hvert fall en stor dagligvarebutikk i nærheten er det mye spennende å velge mellom, så her her det i grunnen bare å velge og vrake i det som finnes. Det kan jo være spennende å prøve noe nytt også. Helt populært var det ikke den gangen jeg kom hjem med speket reinsdyrhjerte. Vi voksne syntes det smakte godt, men Tuppen og Lillemor syntes det var litt drøyt å spise hjertet. Så det ble med den ene gangen. Håper du får en strålende 17. mai, og en flott uke for øvrig.
