Denne oppskriften på havreflarn var min faste følgesvenn i studietiden. Hver gang jeg hadde lyst på noe godt rørte jeg sammen disse i en fei. I løpet av 20 minutter kan man ha de første nystekte kjeksene på bordet. Det er jo ikke så dumt dersom det skulle dukke opp noen, eller man altså ganske enkelt har lyst på noe godt til kaffen (eller i mitt tilfelle teen). Hvor oppskriften kommer fra husker jeg ikke lenger, men siden jeg bodde i Danmark på den tiden, er det trolig at jeg har plukket den opp fra et eller annet danske blad eller avis, eller kanskje den kommer fra Karolines køkken.

Noen tenker kanskje på havreflarn som en julekake, men for meg er det en helårskjeks. De er like gode om sommeren som om vinteren. Jeg spiser dem som nevnt med en kopp te, men det er også fine å servere ved siden av iskrem, eller å smuldre over morgenyoghurten.  Dyppes de i smeltet sjokolade blir de litt mer luksuriøse, enn mine hverdagskjeks er.

Ingredienser

  • 100 gr. smør
  • 175 gr. sukker
  • 100 gr. havregryn
  • 1 stort egg
  • 2 ss hvetemel
  • 1 ts bakepulver
  • 1 knivsodd salt

Fremgangsmåte

  • Forvarm ovnen til 170 grader
  • Smelt smøret
  • Bland smør, sukker, havregryn og egg.
  • Rør inn hvetemel, bakepulver og salt.
  • Legg røren i små klatter med en teskje på bakepapir. Sørg for at det er god avstand, for de flyter veldig utover.
  • Stekes i 8-10 minutter.
