Det er de færreste som sier nei takk til en sjokoladedessert. Denne dessertkaken lever opp til sitt latinske rykte, den er mørk, intens og forførende god. Fransk sjokoladekake har en kraftig sjokoladesmak, er litt myk og klissete i midten og passelig kompakt. Akkurat slik en slik kake skal være.  Den er også enkel å lage og kan gjøres i stand god tid i forveien. Det er en stor fordel når man skal ha selskap, synes jeg.

Et google-søk viser at det vrimler av oppskrifter på fransk sjokoladekake der ute. Oppskriftene er ganske like hverandre. Min oppskrift skiller seg litt ut fra de andre ved at den inneholder litt mer hvetemel enn de aller fleste. Det gjør den litt mer kakeaktig, enn mange av de andre som i realiteten nesten bare er smeltet smør, sjokolade, egg og sukker. Dermed blir den også litt mindre mektig, men definitivt ikke mindre god – etter min mening.

Ingredienser

  • 175 gr smør
  • 175 gr kokesjokolade
  • 3  egg
  • 170 gr sukker
  • 60 gr hvetemel

Fremgangsmåte

  • Sett ovnen på 175 grader.
  • Smelt smør og rør inn sjokoladen.
  • Skill eggene.
  • Pisk eggeplommene og sukkeret hvitt og luftig.
  • Bland inn smør og sjokoladeblandingen og rør inn hvetemelet.
  • Pisk eggehvitene og skjær dem forsiktig inn i deigen.
  • Smør en liten, rund form.
  • Hell kakedeigen i formen og stek på nederste rille i ovnen i ca. 35 minutter.
  • Avkjøl.

Dryss melis på før servering og server gjerne med jordbærsorbet, appelsinsalat eller iskrem.
