Denne kremen har alt. Den er frisk, har en lett syrlighet (men ikke for mye), er kremet selvfølgelig og kan brukes til veldig mange ting. Fetaostkrem er helt super som dip til grønnsaker, eller snack om du heller foretrekker det. Den kan brukes som pålegg på en brødskive sammen med en skive tomat. Eller du kan lage en fancy blings med masse godt på. Du kan også fylle små snackpaprikaer med fetaostkrem og servere dem som en del av et tapasbord. Prøv den som dressing over grønnsaker og stekt lammekjøtt i pitabrød. Du kan også lage små skinkeruller med kremen og agurkstrimler til et koldtbord. Eller prøv den i en bakt potet. Som du skjønner er det bare fantasien som setter grenser for hva denne kremen kan bruks til.

Dessuten er den lett å lage og kan godt lages dagen i forveien. Det er mulig den vil tykne litt etter en natt i kjøleskapet, men da kan du rett og slett røre inn litt melk. Og så servere ved romtemperatur. Da synes i hvert fall jeg at den er best.

Jeg brukte persille i fetaostkremen fordi det var det jeg hadde for hånden. Men når urtebeddet mitt i hagen kommer i gang, vil jeg eksperimentere mer med andre urter. Hvilke urter vil være avhengig av hva jeg skal bruke kremen til. Gressløk vil være en sikker vinner, det samme kan estragon, oregano, dill eller mynte være, eller sikkert ofte en blanding av forskjellige urter.

Ingredienser

  • 200 gr fetaost
  • 1 beger lettrømme
  • 1 fedd hvitløk
  • 2 ss finhakkede friske urter
  • nykvernet pepper

Fremgangsmåte

  • Kjør fetaost og rømme glatt med en stavmixer eller i en blender.
  • Finhakk hvitløk og urter og bland inn i dippen.
  • Kvern over litt pepper og bland alt godt.

Tips

Kremen kan godt lages god tid i forveien og settes i kjøleskapet. Men ta den gjerne ut i god tid, da den er best når den har romtemperatur. Har den stått lenge i kjøleskapet kan den ha tyknet noe, spe den da ut med litt melk. Nesten alle slags urter kan brukes. Velg en, eller lag en blanding av flere forskjellige urter.
