Er du en av de som rutinemessig rasker med deg en pakke påleggsalat fra butikken? Da synes jeg du heller skal prøve å lage denne salaten i stedet. Jeg vil påstå at det er easy peasy å lage eggesalat med reker, men det er ikke det som er det viktige i denne sammenhengen. Det viktigste er at det smaker så utrolig godt. Egg og reker i en litt pikant dressing er rett og slett sabla godt.

Alt du trenger for å lage denne salaten er egg, reker, majones, rømme og litt urter og krydder. Dette er stort sett noe de fleste har i kjøleskapet – ja kanskje med unntak av reker da. Har du ikke reker blir det fortsatt skikkelig digg. Har du spist reker og fått noen få igjen, er eggesalat med reker en veldig fin måte å bruke opp resten av rekene på.

Jeg har flere påleggsalater og rører på bloggen. Du kan jo prøve makrellrøre med urter, tunfisksalat med karri eller italiensk salat.

Ingredienser

  • 6 hardkokte egg
  • 1 stor sjalottløk
  • 6 ts majones
  • 6 ts rømme
  • salt og pepper
  • tabasco eller 1 kn odd kajennepepper
  • 1/2 kg reker med skall eller 1 lite beger pillede reker
  • dill og persille

Fremgangsmåte

  • Pill rekene
  • Grovhakk egg og reker, la gjerne noen reker være hele og pynt med disse til slutt.
  • Finhakk sjalottløk og urtene.
  • Bland sammen majones, rømme, løk, krydder og urter.
  • Smak til med salt og pepper.
  • Rør inn egg og reker.
  • Oppbevar kaldt til servering.

Server med godt brød. Passer også ypperlig på koldtbord.

Tips

Jeg har brukt dill og persille, men andre urter kan også brukes. Jeg tror for eksempel at estragon vil smake godt. Bruk det du har og liker.
