En haug med bananer hadde i løpet av helgen rukket å bli nokså brune og triste. Noe måtte gjøres dersom de ikke skulle havne i søppelbøtten. Jeg bestemte meg for å bake med dem, og valget falt på en banansjokoladekake. Mange banansjokoladekaker inneholder både kakao og sjokolade. Det hadde nok denne også gjort om jeg hadde hatt sjokolade i huset. Det hadde jeg ikke, så kakao fikk gjøre nytten denne gangen. Små biter med sjokolade ville definitivt ikke vært galt, men dette er jo en restekake og da tager man hva man haver.

Oppskriften jeg har brukt kommer fra den amerikanske bloggen smitten kitchen som er en av de bloggene jeg liker veldig godt. I hennes oppskrift skulle det i tillegg til kakao også være sjokolade. Men som forklart over, så hadde jeg ikke det i dag. Ellers har jeg fulgt oppskriften nokså slavisk. Kaken ble veldig søt og saftig. Den passer nok best for de som er ekstra glad i søte ting. For meg ble den i søteste laget, men det kunne nok også ha blitt justert med mengden bananer, for de jeg hadde  var veldig modne og dermed veldig søte.

Ingredienser

  • 3 godt modne bananer
  • 115 gr smør
  • 145 gr brunt sukker
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ts vaniljesukker
  • 1 ts bakepulver
  • 1 klype salt
  • 125 gr hvetemel
  • 1 dl kakao

Fremgangsmåte

  • Forvarm ovnen til 175 grader.
  • Mos bananene med en gaffel.
  • Smelt smøret og rør det sammen med bananene.
  • Pisk inn sukkeret og vaniljesukker og deretter egget.
  • Sikt inn mel, bakepulver, salt og kakao og rør forsiktig med en sleiv til alt er blandet.
  • Legg bakepapir i en brødform og hell røren oppi.
  • Stek i 60-65 minutter. Sjekk at kaken er ferdig ved å stikke inn en fyrstikk. Kaken er ferdig når det ikke henger deig på den når den tas ut.

Avkjøl på bakerist og nyt. Nybakt er som regel best 🙂
