Dette er en god gammeldags krydderkake med banan som har fulgt meg siden studietiden. Det med bananen er riktignok en nyere tilføyelse, men allikevel (det er jo greit å spise de litt brune bananene også, da). Denne kaken er proppfull av deilig varmende krydder som kanel, nellik og ingefær. Og så sørger bananen og yoghurt for at kaken blir deilig saftig i mange dager.

Krydderkake med banan passer perfekt til en kopp rykende varm te på en uhstrig høstkveld. Tenk deg at vinden uler rundt hushjørnene, regnet pisker mot rutene og temperaturen nærmer seg frysepunktet. Da er det jommen ikke mye som er bedre enn å tenne noen stearinlys og sette seg under pleddet med noe varmt i koppen og noe godt å bite i. Da er denne krydderkaken med banan perfekt.

Vanligvis steker jeg kaken i en brødform, men denne gangen brukte jeg en liten rund form med en innsats som gir hull i midten. Det betyr jo ingen ting, men ser kanskje litt mer fancy ut.

Ingredienser

  • 100 gr smør
  • 3 dl sukker
  • 3 egg
  • 4 dl hvetemel
  • 1 banan (gjerne litt brun)
  • 2 ts bakepulver
  • 1 ts kanel
  • 1 ts nellik
  • 1 ts ingefær
  • 2 dl yoghurt

Fremgangsmåte

  • Sett ovnen på 190 grader.
  • Pisk smør og sukker hvitt og luftig.
  • Rør eggene inn, ett av gangen.
  • Mos bananen og bland den godt inn i røren.
  • Melet og krydderene siktes i og alt blandes.
  • Tilsett yoghurt og rør godt.
  • Stek kaken i en brødform eller en liten rund form med hull i midten. i ca. 1 time.

Avkjøl litt og kos deg.
