Indisk mat kan til tider være veldig hot, og da er det alltid godt å ha noe ved siden av som kan kjøle ned ganen noen hakk. Raita med mynte er en sånn ting. Den en en kald yoghurtbasert dip. Det at den er kald hjelper jo noe og så skal yoghurt i seg selv virke svalende på smaksløkene og hele systemet. Om raita har det er jo opp til deg å vurdere, men uansett virkning smaker det herlig av svalende yoghurt og friskt mynte. Raita passer også ypperlig som dip og kan fint serveres sammen med brød som naan eller pappadam.

Det tar bare et par minutter å lage i stand raita med mynte og antall ingredienser er svært begrenset. Så er du først i gang med å lage indisk mat, vil jeg sterkt anbefale deg å slenge sammen denne også.

Ingredienser

  • 2 dl yoghurt naturell
  • 1 neve tettpakket med mynteblader
  • 1/2 ts salt
  • 1 ss sitronsaft

Fremgangsmåte

  • Ha alle ingrediensene i en beholder og kjør med stavmixer til mynten er fint kuttet.
  • Smak på raitaen og juster evt. med mer salt eller flere mynteblader.
  • La gjerne raitaen stå i kjøleskapet en time eller to før servering.
