Nå i påsken er vi hjemme og har god tid. Tid som kan brukes til å treffe venner og familie. Ofte er rammen rundt treffene et måltid. Det trenger ikke være stort og forseggjort. Det kan like gjerne være nybakte boller som en stor middag med mange retter.  Det er lite som slår duften av fersk gjærbakst som sprer seg i huset like før gjestene kommer. En bedre velkomst kan man vel ikke tenke seg.

Min kusine med familie skulle komme på besøk i går formiddag, og jeg fikk lyst til å bake en klippekrans. Det er mindre tidkrevende enn kanel i svingene, men har akkurat den samme deilige smaken av smør, sukker og kanel. Oppskriften fant jeg på Det søte liv

Ingredienser

  • 100 g smør
  • 3,5 dl melk
  • 50 g gjær
  • 1 dl sukker
  • 1 ts kardemomme
  • 500-600 g hvetemel
  • --
  • 50 g smør
  • 3 ss sukker
  • 3 ts kanel
  • --
  • 1 sammenpisket egg til pensling

Fremgangsmåte

  • Sett smøret som skal brukes til fyllet på kjøkkenbenken så det blir romtemperert.
  • Begynn å lage deigen. Smelt smøret og bland inn melken. Rør ut gjæren.
  • Mål opp og bland de tørre ingrediensene i en bolle.
  • Tilsett gjærblandingen og rør det godt sammen. Elt deigen til den smidig.
  • La deigen heve i 45 minutter.
  • Mens deigen hever blandes smør, sukker og kanel til fyllet.
  • Tøm deigen ut og kjevle til et rektangel som er ca. 60 cm langt og 25 cm bredt.
  • Smør fyllet utover leiven og rull leiven sammen fra den lange siden til en fast pølse.
  • Legg deigpølsa over på et bakebrett og form som en krans.
  • Klipp dype hakk i deigen med ca. 1 cm tykkelse rundt hele.
  • Brett "bladene" ut vekselvis til høyre og venstre.
  • Etterhev i ca. 30 minutter og stek på 200 grader i 25-30 minutter.

Ta ut og avkjøl litt før den serveres.
