Alle liker kjøttboller, og disse er veldig gode. En blanding av okse-, og svinekjøttdeig gir god smak og saftige kjøttboller. Disse kjøttbollene egner seg godt til supper, spagetti a la Lady og Landstrykeren, på pizzaen, i woken eller på tapasbordet. Det er bare fantasien som setter grenser for bruken.

Oppskriften nedenfor er ganske stor. Tanken er at noe kan fryses ned slik at det er nok til flere middager. Har du plass i fryseren din til å singelfryse, så er det veldig greit. Da legger du alle på et brett og setter det inn i fryseren. Når de er helt frosset, kan de legges over i en pose, og så er det bare å ta ut det du har behov for etterhvert. Jeg har dessverre ikke så god plass i fryseren min, så jeg deler opp i porsjoner og fryser ned en porsjon i hver pose.

Ingredienser

  • 400 gr kjøttdeig
  • 400 gr kjøttdeig av svin
  • 1,5 dl brødsmuler
  • 1 liten løk
  • 3 fedd hvitløk
  • 1 ts salt
  • 1/2 ts nykvernet pepper
  • 2 egg

Fremgangsmåte

  • Riv løk og hvitløk fint på et rivjern.
  • Bland alle ingrediensene i en bolle, bruk gjerne hendene til dette.
  • Sett ovnen på 200 grader.
  • Rull kjøttboller på størrelse med store klinkekuler (ca. 100 stk).
  • Stek kjøttbollene noen minutter i margarin eller olje til de får en fin farge på alle kanter.
  • Legg over på et stekebrett og etterstek i ca. 5 minutter.
  • Avkjøl helt dersom du skal fryse dem ned.

Tips

Dersom du skal bruke kjøttbollene med en gang, trenger du ikke ettersteke dem. Du kan ha dem rett fra stekepannen oppi sausen, og la dem trekke ferdig i den. Du kan gjerne tilsette urter, eller krydder for å få mer smak på kjøttbollene. Persille, oregano, revet sitronskall, chili, sennep, fetaost er bare noe av det som kan brukes. Bare husk at dersom du har tenkt å bruke kjøttbollene til forskjellige ting, kan det være lurt å holde dem ganske nøytrale på smak.
