Jeg vet det er mange som bruker dagene før jul til å prøvesmake julematen. Noen steker en liten ribbe, andre smaker på rakfisken, eller juleskinka. Hjemme hos oss har vi vanlig middager frem til lille julaften. Da har vi en helt spesiell tradisjon som begynte da Tuppen og Lillemor var små. Vi hadde så mye vi skulle rekke før julaften med pynting av tre og vasking og rydding at det ikke ble tid til å lage middag. Løsningen vår da ble å ringe etter en pizza. Siden da har det vært et fast innslag i vår juletradisjon. Når juletreet er pyntet ringer vi etter pizza og så avslutter vi med gløgg til grevinnen og hovmesteren. Litt rar tradisjon, kanskje, men sånn er det hos oss. Mandag og tirsdag blir det enkle middager, sånn at apetitten på julemat er på topp når vi endelig setter oss til bords på julekvelden. For de som ikke synes at pizza er topp på kvelden før kvelden, så kan det kanskje friste med risengrynsgrøt. Lager du en ekstra stor porsjon, kan du jo lage riskrem en dag i julen også.  Ha en flott innspurt i juleforberedelsenen.
