Pin

Jeg er vanligvis en person som alltid velger salt fremfor søtt. Heller potetgull enn sjokolade, og ost fremfor dessert, hvis du forstår hva jeg mener. Men altså, av og til får jeg bare så innmari lyst på noe søtt til teen min, og da er en søt kjeks eller et lite stykke enkel kake akkurat hva jeg vil ha. I det siste har jeg laget en utrolig god og saftig formkake med appelsin og den er helt perfekt til mitt formål. Kaken er enkel å lage, kan skjæres i passe store skiver og er like saftig etter en dag eller to. Formkaken inneholder både appelsinskall og juice og det gjøre at den får en herlig smak av appelsin og en nydelig gul farge. Har du lyst på glasur på toppen, kan du blande melis og appelsinjuice.  Eller kanskje rett og slett litt sjokoladeglasur, ville smake.

Ingredienser

  • 3 store egg
  • 160 gr sukker
  • 160 gr hvetemel
  • 1/2 ts bakepulver
  • 150 gr smør
  • 1 appelsin, skall og juice

Fremgangsmåte

  • Forvarm ovnen til 180 grader.
  • Riv skallet på appelsinen på den fineste siden på rivjernet, og press ut juicen.
  • Pisk egg, og sukker hvitt og luftig.
  • Sikt inn hvetemel og bakepulver og bland forsiktig.
  • Smelt smøret og tilsett det i deigen og bland godt.
  • Rør inn appelsinskall og juice i deigen.
  • Smør en liten brødform godt og hell oppi deigen.
  • Stek i ca. 40 minutter.
  • Avkjøl kaken i formen.

Pynt evt. kaken med litt melis blandet med appelsinjuice før servering.
