Akkurat nå er de pakistanske mangoene i sesong. De har en fantastisk god smak, og det gjelder å benytte seg av dem mens de er her, for det er bare noen korte sommeruker at de er helt på topp. Denne superenkle oppskriften yter mangoene full rettferdighet, uten at man trenger å bruke særlig lang tid på kjøkkenet. Her er det bare å mose og fryse – og selvsagt vente. Så har man plutselig mango og appelsinis på pinne, klar i fryseren.

Jeg hadde tenkt å lage sjokoladetrekk på tuppen,. Det hadde sikkert gjort isene enda bedre, så langt kom jeg ikke for de ble spist før jeg rakk å gjøre det.Ønsker du å gjøre det, så smelter du ganske enkelt litt sjokolade som du dypper de ferdig frosne isene i før servering. Sjokoladen stivner på et blunk.

Jeg kjøpte meg noen fine isformer på e-bay, så nå blir det nok en del miksing, mosing og frysing fremover. Så sant været frister til å spise pinneis, da. Jeg har en sterk mistanke om at jeg kommer til å finne flere favoritter i sommer utover mango og appelsinis. Vil du ha jordbæris kan du fryse denne jordbærsorbeten i ispinneformer i stedet for i en større boks.
