Micahel Pollan har skrevet flere bøker om mat og produksjon av mat. I en av bøkene sine – Food rules, har han fremsatt 7 regler for et godt kosthold. Det er gode regler, som ( i hvert fall for det meste) passer like godt for nordmenn som for amerikanere. Derfor starter jeg nå en serie med disse reglene. Hver uke vil jeg presentere en av disse reglene, og i dag kommer den første.

Dette gjelder ikke bare det ferdige produktet som tilsynelatende kan være noe helt vanlige matretter, men også alle ingrediensene i (ferdig)maten vår. Denne reglen eliminerer faktisk det meste av den prosesserte maten som er å få kjøpt, for vet du hva alle tilsetningsstoffene på varedeklarasjonen er? Mens du funderer på det kan du jo lage fiskekaker med stekt løk. Det ville garantert din oldemor gjenkjent og sikkert også laget.
