Dette er vel spagettisausen fremfor noen. Den selvskrevne spagettikongen. Som med så mange av disse klassiske rettene finnes det nok like mange oppskrifter som det finnes kokker rundt i verden. Oppskriften nedenfor er derfor min variant over denne retten.

Ingredienser

  • 1 gul løk
  • 100 gr bacon
  • 400 gr karbonadedeig
  • 1 gulrot
  • 1 stilk stangselleri
  • 2 fedd hvitløk
  • olivenolje til steking
  • 500 gr passata (finhakkede tomater) eller
  • 1 boks grovhakkede tomater og 2 ss tomatpure og 1 dl vann
  • salt, pepper
  • oregano
  • merian
  • timian
  • basilikum
  • --
  • Spagetti til 4 personer

Fremgangsmåte

  • Finhakk grønnsaker og bacon.
  • Fres bacon i oljen et par minutter.
  • Tilsett grønnsakene og stek et par minutter til.
  • Ha i karbonadedeigen og stek til den har blitt brun.
  • Tilsett tomatene og krydre. Jeg har ikke oppgitt noen mengder på krydder og urter, for her slumper jeg ganske mye. Men jeg er ikke gjerrig med med urtene. Et godt tips er å ta litt og litt av gangen og smake seg frem til rett mengde.
  • Denne sausen blir bare bedre av å koke lenge, en times tid er supert. I en travel hverdag er det imidlertid sjelden jeg har tid til å la sausen koke så lenge. Men som regel venter jeg med å sette på vann til spagettien til alle ingrediensene er i gryten. Da får den i hvert fall koke 20-30 minutter. Det går bra det også.
